Despite the current version of AutoCAD being 2022 Autodesk still provide updates for prior releases. A few days ago, an update for AutoCAD 2020 was issued and can be accessed from the Desktop App or the main Autodesk account page. This update addresses several issues on the 2020 version of AutoCAD including:
- Periodic crashes when using the select file dialog box.
- Maintaining the correct display of objects on screen with draw order.
- Retaining the correct data and link when re-pathing an Excel document.
- Double Clicking a DWG file from File Explorer launches AutoCAD when the SDI (single document interface) variable is set to 1.
- Updating of dynamic blocks from property changes.
