AutoCAD 2023 - Markup Import and Assist

One of the great new features in AutoCAD 2023 is the Markup Import and Assist. This uses machine learning to identify markups and place them into a drawing as AutoCAD objects.

To use this go to Collaborate Tab>Traces Panel>Markup Import.

Pick ANY PDF, JPG or PNG file to import (even a photo of  a drawing marked up by hand or a really bad screenshot marked up in paint!).

It is imported and there is the option to move and scale it into position to match the drawing:

The Transparency can be altered to check the import, and then the Markup Assist buttons can be used to identify mtext, mleaders and revision clouds. This then places them into the drawing:
