AutoCAD Tip - Drawing a multi-coloured line element as a single entity

Recently I was asked whether it was possible to draw a line containing more than one colour. Initially I must confess I was a little stumped, but this is possible with the use of AutoCAD’s multiline functionality. Define a new multi-line style (MLSTYLE) and setup two-line elements, with a defining offset of 0 (zero). Give each line a different colour and different linetypes e.g. Hidden and Continuous.

Multi-line Styles can either be stored in a template or accessed from a resource library drawing on the Design centre or Tool Palettes.
