I was recently having a conversation with a customer who was experiencing crashing problems when copying and pasting elements within AutoCAD 2023 drawings, when trying to paste Microsoft Excel tables into drawings. The customer was still using the original 2023 release of AutoCAD and I noticed that an update had been recently released which addressed several stability issues. Once the update was applied the user was able to paste data without system crashes and the system seemed responsive in other areas, like navigating 3D shaded views and when working with complex hatch patterns.

The update should be available from the Desktop Connector App, or the main Autodesk Account page located at:

https://accounts.autodesk.com (login required)

Once applied the AutoCAD Version should read as T.114.0.0 AutoCAD 2023.1
