AutoCAD Tip – Cycling through multiple overlapping viewports

When working with AutoCAD layouts with multiple viewports it can be awkward ensuring that the correct viewport is active. Particularly when selecting a smaller viewport that is completely inside a larger viewport.

To cycle between “Viewports” use the key combination of CRTL + R until the correct viewport is active.

This feature has been in AutoCAD for many years but is still missed or forgotten by many, even experienced AutoCAD users.
