AutoCAD 2023 – Clearing out recent file history?

AutoCAD, like many applications, remembers previous drawings that have been accessed. The number of files can be set in options. I posted about clearing this history by setting the number to zero within the file options tab which can be read here:

A more simple method to remove recent files from the home page can be performed with a simple right-click option. This method just removes selected files, not the complete history list which the previous post demonstrates.

Files can be displayed in either a list or thumbnail format, but however the files are displayed, they can be selected individually or via a ‘lasso’ method should multiple files need to be removed from the recent history list.
