#1 Line Display.

When selecting objects when a command is active, the selected objects are displayed with a “Blue Glow” as shown in Figure 1.

If the objects are selected prior to selecting a command, again these objects are displayed with the “Blue Glow” but also with the “Blue” (cold) grips, as shown in Figure 2.

As an alternative, the selected objects can be displayed as “Dashes” instead of the “Blue Glow”. This is the case whether the objects have been selected, either while in, or prior to, a command selection, as shown in Figure 3.

To change the object display from the “Blue Glow” to “Dashed”, use the system variable “SECTIONEFFECT” (all one word), and change the default value of “1” to “0”.

Note: - The “Glow” Effect will only be displayed on the selected objects if the “Hardware Acceleration” in the “Graphics Performance” dialogue is turned “On”, as shown in Figure 4.
