There are two distinct options:

•  Creating a Filled Shape: This allows you to define a shape and fill it with a hatch pattern.

•  Applying Hatching along a Specified Path: Use a polyline, circle or rectangle draw

options to create hatches along a specified path.

New System Variables

  • HPDRAWMODE - Controls the drawing mode used when defining new boundaries to hatch or fill.
  • HPPATHALIGNMENT - Specifies the alignment of new drawn paths to be hatched or filled.
  • HPPATHWIDTH - Specifies the width of new drawn paths to be hatched or filled.

By using the HPPATHWIDTH variable, you can adjust the width of a line that describes the hatch path.
