MEPWORX 2026 Post Update Fixes

Since the release of the 2026 a week or two back one or two issues have come to light which we have fixed.

You should be confronted with another update message which you should then download and update to include the following updated fixes. Whenever you see this message, it means your version upon licence check will be seen as being slightly out of date in comparison with the download version, therefore you should always update, so you don’t report problems we’ve already fixed....best avoid any in the first place by downloading.

HEAT GAIN SUMMARY PRINTOUTS

These have been re designed and corrected to show the full latent gain also with the addition of a Total Gains column to make data clearer. Before the latent gains were only relating to the occupancy and at odds with the room gains on rooms summary screen listing which was correct.

ROOMS IN PIPING WHERE RADS AND PLANT COULDN’T BE ADDED

There was a data structure issue where some rooms wouldn’t allow radiators or fan coil units to be added -this has since been fixed

 

UPDATED “GETTTING STARTED” DOCUMENTATION

An updated ”Getting Started” pdf document has been included, which is a recommended read as quite a few users recently have experienced issues with slow running of dxf files which are too big, 100s of kM from the origin with model space far too large –

 

NEW EXAMPLE FILE OF HOW TO SET UP SPLIT LEVELS

We’ve put together a little worked example depicting how you can set up a split level project where essentially you use the same dxf plan for a lower and upper storey split where you set up the elevation of the upper section of the split then ignore the room height restrictions to set up the model

ADDITION OF TEMPLATE SCHEMATIC

We have added a pre set schematic layout for you to immediately start sketching up schematic layouts. All you have to do is to open up “TEMPLATE SCHEMATIC” sample file found in the Tutorial Projects tab and SAVE AS to then create a schematic of your choice
