MapThat – List Box Options

The DynamicMaps team are pleased to announce that the Drawing Tools in our webGIS – MapThat – have been updated so that any listbox can now be populated from values in an alternate table.

Previously when using the Attribute Editor window, the values available in any listbox would be taken from only the current UNIQUE values in the table you are editing.

This could be restrictive if you need to create a new feature that needs an alternate value.. So, in the latest MapThat update we now allow you to choose an alternate Lookup table and column….

And now the listbox is populated using the values in the alternate table and column…. allowing users to choose values that aren’t currently in the editable table.
