 im1.pngWhere are Hatch Patterns located?

Your hatch standard pattern definitions are located within your acad.pat file. This file is usually located in program files under your program files\autocad-version\support folder.Capture.PNG im2.png

This will bring up the Fill Patterns dialog box which shows you all the fill patterns available. Click New. In the New Pattern dialogue box, click custom, click import, navigate to the acad.pat file, click open and in the New Pattern dialogue box all the AutoCAD hatch patterns will be listed. Scroll down and select ESCHER, change the scale to .5 to control the scale at which this pattern will be inserted into your Revit Project. Click OK – we now have a new ESCHER pattern loaded into our Revit project. im3.png
