Revit 2027: New Residential Sample Model

Introduction

To help showcase the new features in Revit 2027, Autodesk have included a new residential sample file (Pacic Continental Residence).

The new sample model is an ideal size for introducing new user to the Revit software. Having three easily accessible Design Options in the Project Browser is useful for introducing more advanced design options to more experienced users.

Conclusion

A moderate sized residential sample project allows for discussion on several key topics such as Project Browser Organisation, Sheet Presentations, and Project Documentation. The Pacific Continental Residential sample project delivers a complete four bedroom residential model in the design development stage. Three iterations demonstrate structure design options, new documentation views, and new schedule and legend views.
