Revit - Default Colours

Hot desking or moving from machine, may from time to time require some changes to the working environment. Probably the most common change is to the “Selection”, “Pre-selection” and “Alert” colours and in very few situations the working “Background”.

The default colours are as follows: -

Background                 White

Selection                     RGB 000-059-189

Pre-selection               RGB 000-059-189

Alert                            RGB 255-128-000

Calculating                  Cyan

Note: - the “Calculating” section has been added in release 2020.

These colours can be changed in the “Graphics” category of the options dialogue box.
