A recent suggestion on the Revit Ideas forum was to include phasing information within view filters. This has now been implanted with 2022 which can be seen in the Visibility graphics dialogue below.

Phase Created and Phase Demolished parameters are now available when creating view filters. This means that visibility and graphics of elements can be changed based on phase parameters instead of the previous phase filter settings. This method provides more flexibility when displaying different phases of the model, it also introduces the possibility of showing future phases within views of the model. To aid the setting of the overrides, the width of panels within the dialogue can also be adjusted in width to suit.

Other improvements with view filters make it now possible to select multiple filters at a time within the visibility graphics dialog and apply the required display overrides in one operation.
