Revit 2022 – New feature – Rebar Placement by Two Points

A welcome development with the recent Revit 2022 release was the improvement to how Rebar can be more easily placed than previous releases.  Use the place Rebar by 2-point method to quickly place shapes around columns, slabs and other structural elements choosing vertical or horizontal placement option as appropriate.

Spacing and bar orientation can be set with arrow keys or the spacebar to align to non orthogonal or angled edges. It is also possible to snap to the Rebar cover offsets as required.
