Autodesk has just released an update for Revit. This update applies several fixes to the core product. Key enhancements include:

  • The addition of a lock option to the align tool that allows automatic locking of all aligned elements.
  • The ability to select multiple families within the Load Family function.
  • The addition of a Midway between two points snap when drawing or placing elements.
  • The ability to duplicate sheets.

Dynamo has been upgraded to v2.12 (which includes the ability to resize watch nodes). Improved Input/Output functions with the ability to import and export IFC files of any size and support for Rhino 7 and Sketchup 2021 files. It is also now possible to import OBJ and STL files via Import CAD.

There is also a major improvement with system performance when working with large complex models, with many open views.

Once the update has been applied, the additional features should be accessible and Revit’s version should display as the image below.
