My previous three blogs looked at different ways to organise project views in the project browser. In this blog, we will focus on organising sheet views.

Organising sheets is usually more straightforward than organising project views. You can of course use organising parameters, but a much easier approach is to use the sorting scheme shown here:

Make sure to check the Leading Characters option and set it to 1. This means that only the first character of each sheet number will be used for sorting.

Below are the results of this sorting scheme: Sheets are classified by the first letter of their number.

This is a simple but very effective way of organising your sheet views in the project browser. Having a well organised project browser is an essential ingredient of a robust Revit template file.

TIP: Use capitals when naming sheets to distinguish them from project views.
