Activate Controls and Dimensions

A new control has been added to increase navigation performance in views.

Revit 2022: Some elements e.g. curtain walls display control icons such as pins when selected. If you select multiple elements, you’ll get a huge number of icons.

Revit 2023: On the modify tab, you’ll get the “Activate Control” tool. If you leave it off, all the annoying icons and automatic dimensions won’t show. The automatic dimensions will only show when you select a single element.

This feature makes a big difference in performance when you select a lot of elements.
