Revit 2023 has brought many improvements to the structural tools in Revit, including Rebar. A small, but appreciated development, is the simplification of showing Rebar as geometry and in many ways display controls mimic the steel connection elements that only show in fine level of detail.

In previous Revit versions, rebar geometry could be set by a view visibility states manager and the view as solid option enabled. However, with the 2023 release this column is removed and rebar geometry control is set purely by level of detail. If a custom display is required, conventional display controls like filters could be used.

The Visibility state dialogue now includes a new view name search function, which is useful when working on larger projects.
