With Revit 2023 it is now possible to copy and adapt shape-driven rebar from a source object to destination elements. The bars are adapted by matching the rebar constraints.

When propagating rebar users can select either align by face or by host using the new options in the ribbon interface.

If some constraint targets are not matching e.g. faces of the original and destination elements are not parallel), the constraints are not applied and some bar segments will stay in place and not adapt to the target element.

TIP! Remember to click Finish!
