Revit 2023 Update – Hotfix for Printing to PDF and other issues

Recently I was talking to a customer who was having display issues when printing and using Revit’s native export to PDF facility. The output printed additional hidden lines when used in conjunction with the Show Hidden Line command.

The solution to this is to apply the recently released Revit 2023.0.2 hotfix. In addition to printing issues the hotfix also addresses stability issues when working linked or imported CAD and FormIT AXM files. Various stability issues on the resizing of dialogue boxes or when launching interfaces for the Cloud Parameter Service or Load Autodesk Family.

The update can be accessed from the Autodesk Desktop App or the Autodesk Account Page

When successfully applied the Revit version should report as, 23.0.20.21, 20220726_1500(x64), 2023.02 as per the about box in the image below.
