I recently had a question asking where Revit’s updates and additional tools can be located and installed.

The current release of the BIM Interoperability Tools suite collection including the Classification Manager, Model Checker, Configurator and COBie Extension for Revit can be downloaded either via the Autodesk Desktop App, which can be accessed via the system tray.

Click on this to scan through updates and tools for all Autodesk Products.

Alternatively visit the Autodesk account page, Manage.autodesk.com, and click on the Product Updates section.

If you have problems locating the tools on the account page, I have found turning the time filter on the search bar to ‘ALL’ will locate the Tools for all recent versions. Once listed, choose the Install option.

I have found sometimes the Desktop App doesn’t always show all the add-ins and tools for the Autodesk products. As I result, I tend to use the Account page to access the tools and apply updates as they are released.
