Add Instruction Rows in Schedule Headers

In Revit schedules you can add rows and columns that are not linked to model information.

Select the title area of the schedule. In the ribbon, click the Add Rows tool to add a new row below the title.

These rows are dumb text, so there is no link to the model information. Deleting or adding information does not affect your model.

You can now write internal notes to explain the use of schedules fully. Look at the following door schedule with instructions.

Use the merge tool to combine multiple cells into one.
