Working and Printing Schedules

It is useful to duplicate schedules and create a version used internally and another used for printing (the schedule added to the sheet view).

In the project browser organisation, the duplicated schedule views might look like this.

In the “working” schedule you might add extra fields to provide all the necessary information for users. For example, we might add the Family & Type parameter and Phase Created information. Here are two schedules, one working and one sheet.

As you can see, the sheet schedule shows only the information that might be required by the client and the work schedule shows all the information required by the user.

Use Bright Colours in Working Schedules

Use bright colours to differentiate working schedules from sheet schedules. These colours are shown on columns that are not present on the sheet schedule.

Select whole columns by clicking column header indexes. Click shading to apply background colour to data columns or header cells. This also carries over to sheets that contain the formatted schedule.
