FormIt - Using Boolean Cut and Boolean Join Command

If you are a new user to FormIt you may not know all the tools that are available to you. Some useful tools allow you to cut and join shapes, these are Boolean Cut and Boolean Join.

Boolean Cut

You can cut one object or group from another with the Cut Tool. There are two ways to access the Cut tool. You can use the keyboard shortcut C & G or select it from the interface.

Run the Cut command and follow the mode instruction in the upper left of the screen.

Single-click to select an object to cut into.

Single click to select an object(s) or group(s) to be removed.

Boolean Join

You can join one object or group into another with the Join tool. There are two ways to access the Join tool, by using the keyboard shortcut J & G or Run the Join command and follow the mode instruction in the upper left of the screen. Single-click to select an object to join into.
