Revit 2024.1 – Structural Section Shape Parameters in Tags

Another major improvement with the Revit 2024.1 release is the addition of many more parameters available to tags relating to structural member section shapes.

In previous versions of Revit this had to be achieved with API and Dynamo solutions, but now many parameters like Section Height, Width and Web Thickness can now be displayed in Tags like any other kind of property.

Having consistent behaviours for all category elements, in terms of modelling, tagging and scheduling will remove some of the frustrations of users getting up to speed with Revit.
