Revit 2024:  Adding Symbols

Symbols are 2D annotations that you can place in any view to highlight certain features or specific information. For example, placing a North Arrow symbol on a sheet view to indicate True North.

To create a Symbol in your View:

     1.  Go to the Annotate tab > Symbol panel > Symbol Button.

     2.  Select your Symbol element from the Type Selector.

     3.  Click and place the Symbol in your View.

On the floor plan shown here, a CL (Centre Line) symbol marks the centre of the corridor.
