For small companies a single organising parameter might be adequate, but what about larger companies that are creating projects with hundreds of views? That’s when you can start using multiple levels of organising parameters. For example:

Sort_1_Category

WO – WORK IN PROGRESS

CO – CONCEPTUAL

CD – CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

Sort_2_Category

100_EXISTING PLANS

101_DEMOLITION PLANS

102_AS-BUILT PLANS

Each view would have these two organising parameters:

Create a New project browser organisation.

The project browser scheme should look like this:

Don’t forget to click the box next to the new project browser scheme that you just created and click apply.

Once the organisation scheme is applied to the model, your project browser should look like this:

To avoid the annoying three question marks ??? popping up in the project browser, make sure that all your views are assigned to the correct parameters.
