As in the requirements of IET BS 7671:2018 Amendment 3, regulation 503.3.201, because the cable from the AC supply to an Inverter in a PV system can have current flowing in both directions, consideration should be given to the provision of a bidirectional device (CPD).
In Wiring’s Detailed Cable Entry dialog, there is now a Bidirectional Circuit check-box.

When this box is checked, the program will automatically check for the selection of an appropriate CPD with Bidirectional properties.

If the selected CPD has Bidirectional properties, this characteristic is confirmed in the Detailed CPD Entry dialog.

If the selected CPD does not have Bidirectional properties, a pop-up warning message will advise you accordingly.

For more information on the application and provision of Bidirectional CPDs, refer to the in-program Help (F1) for Detailed Cable Entry, then scroll down to the link for Bidirectional Circuit.
Or, refer to the in-program Help (F1) and run a Search for Bidirectional.
