Inventor 2012 - Save Copy As OPTIONS

In this world of interoperability, we often get calls about importing or exporting data with Inventor.

One of the BEST pieces of advice I would give anyone is to always look at the OPTIONS in the dialog boxes. It doesn’t matter if you ‘Save Copy As’ a SAT, DWG, STEP, IGES or any other supported format, always check the options. This can make a significant difference in the results.

The same goes for the OPEN dialog box… Always check those OPTIONS!
