How to open IPT/IAM files from Autodesk Vault in Inventor Read-Only?

The way IPT, IAM, IDW, and other Autodesk Inventor files are opened for viewing from the Vault client can be controlled by Vault settings. To view Inventor files using the full-featured Inventor Read-Only viewer, enable this option in the Vault Options dialog.

In the Options section of the Options dialog box, set the invoke action for double-clicking to "Open" (or Open in Window) and set the "Default settings for viewing Inventor files" to "Inventor Read-only Mode".

For other file types (including DWG), the viewer specified in the "Default settings for viewing files" option will be used.
