Inventor Publisher 2013 – Section Hatching Styles

You may not realize that Inventor Publisher allows the option to tweak the appearance of the hatching on a sectioned part. The standard sectioning style leaves a lot to be desired, as you can see below.

The solution? Right click on any sectioned part (you can multiple select using CTRL key) and hit ‘Hatching Style'

You’ll then get options for pattern style, line thickness, colour, scale and angle. Note that you can change all of these using the controls in the graphics window as shown below.
