AutoCAD Electrical 2017: Corrupt/Damaged Catalog Browser

The database for AutoCAD Electrical’s Catalog Browser can quickly grow and slow down the performance. The database can also occasionally get corrupted or damaged, and this will lead to various errors when the user comes to access the database.

A feature to overcome this issue is the Compact and Repair command in Microsoft Access. 

Upon locating and opening the database, click on File and then Compact & Repair.
