Inventor 2018: ilogic Export to PDF

Since the release of Inventor 2018, I have had a few support calls from customers who have found ilogic scripts online. They have found that export to PDF doesn’t work on Inventor 2018, but it used to on previous version of Inventor.

After scouring the internet, I found a blog about exporting to PDF’s written by Curtis Waguespack

It turns out the issue is caused by two lines on the script which either need to be deleted or supressed

If oPDFAddIn.HasSaveCopyAsOptions(oDataMedium, oContext, oOptions) Then

…..

…..

…..

End If

Needs to be written as:

'If oPDFAddIn.HasSaveCopyAsOptions(oDataMedium, oContext, oOptions) Then

…..

…..

…..

‘End If
