Vault has a wide range of keyboard shortcuts, as with other normal Windows functionality.

The usual Ctrl+F, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V etc are always useful, but how do you ‘move’ your data to another folder?

We have all dragged and dropped files somewhere, at some stage, and not known where these files have gone to. Trying to find these can be time consuming and irritating to say the least.

TIP! I have found that using the Vault Shortcut ‘Ctrl+Shift+V’ is fantastic helping to move data in a controlled manner.

After you have selected your files that you want to move, simply use the shortcut and a dialog box pops up to select the Vault location.

There are many other shortcuts that can be used, so make sure you check these out on the Autodesk Knowledge Network.
