The Autodesk Vault Mobile App allows you to connect with your design and engineering data quickly and securely.
The app is available for Apple iOS / Android devices, which completes non-CAD tasks and helps manage your projects.
Some key uses for the app include: -
- Viewing 2D and 3D designs
- Adding Markups
- Upload non-CAD files (for example, Microsoft Word and Excel files) in and out of Vault
After connecting to your network, you can login to your Vault using your Autodesk ID and Vault Professional license.
Vault Mobile Markups
View and then Select a Markup Tool.
You can use markup tools like freehand, shapes, text, clouds and call outs to add drawing and text annotations.
The markup can then be saved as a Snapshot .png file and uploaded directly to the Vault in a chosen folder with comments.

Upload non-CAD files
The Vault mobile app also can upload non-CAD files from your device to the Vault.
These can include various Microsoft documents, photo’s or even take a picture and upload it directly to the Vault.
Depending on your permissions, you can simply create a folder for these documents if needed.
Then upload the documents to it.
Work with your design and engineering teams anywhere, anytime with the Autodesk Vault Mobile App.
