Autodesk Upchain - Assembly Place Component

When creating an assembly, it is normal to use existing components that are already stored in the database.

To add an existing component from the Upchain system an advanced search must be performed.

1. Within Inventor select the required Upchain project.
   
   
2. Select the Advanced search and create a search string.
   
   
   
3. Once the search results are shown select the required component and select insert. The component will be placed at the Assembly origin point.
