You can use the QRcode command in the Be.Smart T4I add-on application by ARKANCE to add dynamic QR codes to your drawings in Autodesk Inventor. This command can convert a text (any static text or a dynamic iProperty value) to a QR code image (a machine-readable black-and-white square matrix). You can find it in the T4I > Annotations ribbon. To insert and display the individual QR code in a drawing, a sketched symbol with a graphic representation of the QR code is used. Internally, this symbol consists of specially formatted texts,

To insert a static or dynamic QRcode in your drawing sheet, perform the following steps:

  1. Run the command from the ribbon.
  2. Enter the text to be converted or refer an iProperty: =<iProperty Name>).
  3. Select the Size, Encoding, and Error correction for the QR code.
  4. Confirm with OK.
  5. Move the QR code from the initial position (bottom left corner of the drawing) to its final location.
