Standard fasteners, various types of bolt and screws, are used in most mechanical designs. Autodesk Fusion significantly simplifies inserting fasteners in its latest releases with its new feature "Insert Fasteners" (you can find it in the SOLID > INSERT ribbon).

In the Insert Fastener palette, you can choose among different standards - ANSI, ASME, BS, DIN, ISO, JIS, and NF, and you can choose between English and metric fasteners. Then select the type and size parameters of the bolt, nuts and washers a pick a hole or face to insert the whole fastener "subassembly". You can also edit the inserted fasteners.
